Apple is arranging its first retail location in South Korea, the home turf of opponent Samsung, the organization affirmed to Reuters in an announcement Friday.
"We're amped up for opening our first Apple Store in Korea, one of the world's financial focuses and a pioneer in media transmission and innovation, with a lively K-culture," Apple said in an announcement.
Neighborhood media already reported Apple's corporate base camp in Cupertino marked three long haul rent contracts for land in Garosu Road, Sinsa-dong, Gangnam District in Seoul.
Apple wouldn't uncover when the Apple Store will open to clients.
Equal Samsung is headquartered in South Korea. While Apple has never had a retail nearness in the area, Samsung has in the United States.
South Korea's Yonhap News Agency reported Friday that development started at an area in a southern locale of Seoul. The store is assessed to be finished before the end of November.
"We're presently procuring the group that will offer our clients in Seoul the administration, instruction, and excitement that is cherished by Apple clients around the globe," Apple's announcement said, affirming 15 employment opportunities.
